My name is Victor Kipiani and my wife Ashley and I are the owners of Class A Tutoring. Over the last 8 years, we've owned and operated our own brick-and-mortar tutoring center, which generates over $400,000 in gross sales annually. Since our inception, the business has been growing at such a rapid rate that we decided to expand our operation and give our gift to the world. Instead of opening another center, Ashley came up with the idea of creating an Uber for the tutoring world, but with high quality, safe, vetted teachers, and that is exactly what we set out to do. After developing our fully-proprietary technology, we decided to carry out a 6-month beta test to ensure that the market would adopt this new method of connecting with each other, and make sure that it was a venture worth investing into. At the end of our test, we were pleasantly surprised as our active users returned to the app to repurchase at least 3 tutoring sessions per month= stickiness achieved. Due to this traction, we were able to breakeven on the cost of each user in month 2.

At this point, we've built a state-of-the-art piece of technology, tested it to ensure product-market fit, and now we are raising $900k in order to achieve the following milestones:

1. Redevelop the UX/UI of our mobile applications and website
2. Integrate Video Conferencing Capabilities
3. Launch Micro/Macro Go-To-Market Strategy
4. Acquire 200K+ student users and 24k+ teacher users
5. Generate revenues of over $15M

There are over 21.2M K-12 teachers in the U.S: 25% are actively working a second job in order to make ends meet. This is mainly due to the Education Department’s aggressive budget cuts, which are forecasted to be cut by an additional $3.6B in 2019 alone. Budget cuts lead to larger class sizes = less time that teachers spend with each student, and finally, reduced academic results for students, teachers and schools. Our solution was to create a network of the highest quality educators that students can rely on for all of their academic needs and finally get the attention they need.

As educators with over 10 years of experience in the field, Victor & Ashley have always longed to make a difference by helping as many students as they could. After years of owning their own tutoring business, it was time to not only serve their community but to make a larger impact on the industry as a whole. Ashley has her double Masters in both Psychology and K-12 Education, while Victor serves as the product engineer and operations manager.

We have also added two additional core team members. Daniel Herzberg bring a wealth of experience in the supplemental education space and extensive experience with business development and marketing. Vy Chantarasy is a seasoned entrepreneur who has created and sold numerous businesses and bring this know-how to business development, operations, and marketing as well.
